How did Angry Hank’s come to be?
Owner Tim Mohr had a regular job and brewed beer at home when he discovered he could go to school and turn his hobby into a career. He traveled to California to brewing school and, some years later, opened his own microbrewery in Billings MT.
How did the microbrewery get its name?
Naming a business is harder than you think! Tim and his friends were throwing around potential names, and Angry Hank stuck. Angry Hank is a friend of the family – an old, grumpy, grandfatherly guy (with a great name) who is always telling people what to do. He’s gruff, but he means well.
How long has Angry Hank’s been in business?
The microbrewery originally opened in an old gas station in downtown Billings MT in 2006. Eleven years and a change in location later, Tim and his team make sure it’s a fun place to hang out and enjoy a pint of hand-crafted beer.
